Dimension Stone Cutting
Dimension stone cutting turns a raw quarry block into a measured unit. The wire saw opens the block into slabs, the bridge saw trims the slab to the cut sheet, and the edge is dressed so it sits square against the next piece. NKDZ Caledonia LLC cuts cladding panels, paving units, lintels, sills and wall caps to a stated length, width and thickness, and every thickness in a run is checked before the pallet leaves the yard.
A cut sheet can arrive as a drawing, a schedule or a sample. The yard confirms the finish, whether that is a sawn face, a honed face or a split face, then books the saw time at the pit post. Cut units are banded on timber, labelled with the load number and protected on the edges so the road does not chip them. Buyers who want to see the grade before cutting can inspect the standing sample crib beside the weighhouse dial.

Landscape and Wall Rock
Landscape and wall rock covers the sorted stone a garden, a border, a retaining wall or a slope needs. The yard keeps wall stone in a range of course heights so a dry stack can be built without excessive trimming, and keeps boulders in sizes that suit accent placement and bank armour. Every piece is sorted by hand at the crib, which keeps the grade honest from the top of the pile to the bottom.
Homeowners and landscape contractors book the same grade, but the yard scales the load to the job. A small trailer order of wall stone is weighed and ticketed in the same pass as a full truck of boulders. NKDZ Caledonia LLC loads rock with the machine that weighed it, so the stone on the truck is the stone on the ticket. Colour matching is available where a wall must tie into existing stonework.

Crushed Aggregate Supply
Crushed aggregate supply delivers road base, drainage stone, chip, ballast and manufactured sand to a stated screen size. The crusher is set to a nominal opening, the product is screened, and a sample is drawn from every lot. Aggregate lots carry a test sheet listing the screen size, the fines content and the compaction result, and that sheet is filed against the load number so a contractor can produce it on site.
Base that compacts true matters more than base that looks right in the pile. NKDZ Caledonia LLC screens to remove oversize and controls the dust fraction so the material locks up under the roller. Drainage stone is washed where the specification calls for clean stone, and chip is graded for colour and consistency. Contractors ordering repeat lots can book a standing supply so the grade does not drift between deliveries.

Custom Stair and Coping
Custom stair and coping is the fine-cut bench. Stair treads are milled to the rise, run and overhang a drawing names, with the joint face dressed so the flight closes tight. Coping is cut to the wall width with a drip and an overhang that shed water clear of the face below. Because both are cut to order, the measurement taken on site becomes a cut ticket in the yard.
Stone for stairs and coping is selected from a single block lot so the finished run reads as one material rather than a patchwork of shades. NKDZ Caledonia LLC records the block number against the cut ticket, which means a later repair can be matched back to the same grade. Treads are drilled and dowelled where the design requires it, and every unit is trial-fitted against its neighbour before packing.

Quarry Block Sales
Quarry block sales offer the raw stone to masonry shops, carvers, fabricators and other stone yards that run their own saws. Blocks are squared on the face, graded by colour and grain, and sold by the tonne or by the individual block. The yard keeps a standing crib of blocks so a buyer can walk the row, compare faces and select the exact stone the saw will open.
Each block carries a face grade and a rough measure, so a buyer can plan cuts before the stone is on the bed. NKDZ Caledonia LLC stores blocks on timber so the faces stay clean, and loads them with care to avoid the corner damage that ruins a carving block. Repeat buyers can reserve a lot and draw from it across a season, with the balance weighed on each collection.

Delivery and Crane Placement
Delivery and crane placement finish the job rather than leaving it at the kerb. Deliveries run to a booked window, and where a load must be set rather than tipped, a crane lifts the stone and places it on the pad, the footing or the wall line named on the drawing. The crew works to the ticket, the grade and the plan, and takes the same care with a single tread as with a full pallet run.
NKDZ Caledonia LLC confirms access before the truck is loaded, which avoids a failed placement on the day. Placement is recorded on the ticket, the site is left swept, and the signed paperwork returns to the office. Where a phased build needs stone across several weeks, the yard schedules repeat windows so the grade and the crew stay consistent from the first lift to the last.
